These lovely African Fat-Tailed Geckos are healthy and feeding consistently. They are thriving in a secure 3ft vivarium that offers the warmth, hiding spaces, and humidity control necessary for proper growth and shedding.

Current Care

Enclosure: 3ft vivarium with secure ventilation
Heating:

  • Warm Side: 30–32°C

  • Cool Side: 22–25°C

  • Night Temperature: 20–22°C

Humidity: 40–60% with a dedicated humid hide to aid in shedding

Hides: At least three—warm hide, cool hide, and humid hide

Substrate: Soil mix, orchid bark or coconut husk  

Feeding: Feeding well on mealworms and appropriately sized crickets and locusts.


A mealworm dish and calcium dish are provided to support strong growth and proper supplementation.

Additional Notes

  • Alert, active, feeding perfectly, and shedding cleanly

  • Hardy species suitable for beginners

  • These lovely normals can also make fantastic additions to future breeding projects, offering the opportunity to introduce fresh bloodlines and new genetics into a collection.
