At Lotus Exotics, we offer immersive reptile and exotic animal experiences designed to entertain, educate and inspire guests of all ages. Our hands-on encounters provide the opportunity to get up close with an incredible variety of reptiles and exotic animals while learning fascinating facts about the species in our care.

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, organising a family day out, planning a team-building event or simply looking for a unique experience, our animal encounters create memories that will last a lifetime.

Meet a fascinating collection of snakes, lizards, invertebrates and other exotic animals while learning about their natural behaviours, adaptations, habitats and care requirements. Our experienced team will guide guests through a safe, engaging and interactive experience that combines education with plenty of fun.

There will be opportunities to handle a variety of animals, ask questions, take photographs and create unforgettable memories with some truly remarkable creatures.

PARTY PACKAGES

Standard Party Package – £200

• Perfect for birthdays and smaller celebrations.

  Duration: 2 Hours

  Group Size: Up to 15 guests (adults and children combined)

Expanded Standard Party Package – £300

• Everything included in our popular Standard Party Package, but with more room for friends and family.

  Our ultimate exotic animal experience.

  Duration: 3.5 Hours

  Group Size: Up to 10 guests (adults and children combined)

Additional Information

• Location

  All Lotus Exotics experiences take place at our premises, allowing guests to enjoy the animals in a familiar and controlled environment designed with their welfare in mind.

  We do not currently offer mobile or off-site party experiences.

  Full venue details, arrival information and any additional instructions will be provided once your booking has been confirmed.

• Accessibility

  Accessible experiences can be arranged on the ground floor outside normal opening hours. Please get in touch with us to discuss any specific requirements.

  Available session start times:

  Alternative times may be available by prior arrangement.

• Refreshments

  Complimentary squash, tea, coffee and water are provided with all of our parties.

• Personalisation

  Every event is unique. If you have specific requests or ideas, we’d love to hear them. Our team will work with you to create an experience tailored to your group wherever possible.

• Decorations

  You’re welcome to add your own personal touch by bringing decorations, banners, balloons, tablecloths or party accessories. We can also assist with room setup upon request.

BOOKING TERMS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Booking & Payment

• To secure your chosen date and time, full payment is required at the time of booking through our website.

• Upon receipt of payment, 20% of the total booking value will be allocated as a non-refundable deposit to reserve your selected date and time.

• The remaining 80% of the booking value may be eligible for refund or transfer in accordance with the cancellation and date change policies outlined below.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking:

• 20% of the booking value will be retained as a non-refundable deposit

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the booking email provided upon confirmation

• Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the scheduled experience date

• Where cancellation is received more than 14 days before the experience, any refundable balance due will be returned within a reasonable timeframe.

• If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the experience date, or if no written cancellation is received, Lotus Exotics reserves the right to retain the full booking value to cover preparation, staffing, animal scheduling and reserved booking time.

Change of Date Policy

• Should you need to move your booking to another date, we are happy to accommodate this wherever availability allows.

• A £20 date change fee applies to transferred bookings

• This replaces the need for a new booking payment

• A 24-hour grace period is provided after booking, during which date changes can be made free of charge

Illness Policy

We appreciate that illness can arise unexpectedly.

If a member of your household is unwell and you need to rearrange your booking:

• We will work with you to arrange an alternative date

• A £20 date change fee will apply 

• If Lotus Exotics needs to cancel due to illness or circumstances beyond our control:

• We will offer an alternative date wherever possible

• Alternatively, a full refund will be issued

Important Experience Information

At Lotus Exotics, we provide interactive and educational exotic animal encounters designed to create memorable experiences whilst maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare.

Whilst our experiences are fun and engaging, we are not entertainers or party hosts. Our primary responsibility at all times is the welfare, health and safety of the animals in our care.

To help ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved, we ask that parents, guardians and organisers assist us in ensuring participants remain:

• Calm and attentive

• Seated when requested

• Respectful towards the animals and handlers

We reserve the right to pause, alter or immediately stop an experience if we believe:

• An animal is becoming stressed or uncomfortable

• Participants are behaving dangerously or irresponsibly

• The welfare of the animals is being compromised

• The safety of guests or staff is at risk

In such circumstances, no refunds will be issued.

Animal Availability

The welfare of our animals will always come first.

Whilst we will do our best to provide access to a wide variety of animals during your experience, specific animals cannot be guaranteed.

Individual animals may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Health or welfare considerations

• Feeding schedules

• Shedding cycles

• Breeding activities

• Rest periods

• Veterinary advice

Any changes made for welfare reasons are at the sole discretion of Lotus Exotics and will not affect the validity of your booking or entitle guests to a refund.

Allergies, Medical Conditions & Phobias

• It is the responsibility of the booking organiser to inform Lotus Exotics of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, sensory requirements or animal-related phobias before the experience.

• Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate reasonable requests, some animals naturally produce allergens and animal handling cannot be guaranteed to be allergen-free.

• Participants with known allergies, asthma or medical conditions should ensure they have any required medication available during the experience.

• Lotus Exotics accepts no responsibility for reactions or issues arising from undisclosed medical conditions, allergies or phobias.

Photography & Social Media

• Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photographs and videos throughout their experience for personal use.

• From time to time, Lotus Exotics may also take photographs or videos during experiences for promotional, educational or social media purposes.

• If you do not wish for yourself or any member of your group to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us before the experience begins and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

Animal Handling Expectations

All animal handling is carried out strictly at the discretion of Lotus Exotics staff.

Whilst we aim to provide as many hands-on opportunities as possible, handling is never guaranteed and may be restricted or withdrawn if:

• Animal welfare requires it

• An animal shows signs of stress

• A participant does not follow handling instructions

• Staff believe there may be a risk to the animal or participant

Our priority is always to provide positive experiences for both guests and animals, ensuring welfare is never compromised.

Respect for Animals

Guests are expected to treat all animals with kindness and respect at all times.

Deliberate rough handling, teasing, chasing, shouting at or otherwise causing distress to any animal will not be tolerated.

Any individual asked to stop behaviour that may negatively impact animal welfare must comply immediately. Failure to do so may result in removal from the experience without refund.

Arrival & Safety Requirements

To ensure everyone receives the necessary handling and safety guidance, all participants must arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Anyone who misses the safety briefing may be unable to participate due to:

• Health and Safety requirements

• Insurance conditions

• Animal welfare requirements
