Enclosure:
Approx 30x20x15cm acrylic terrarium or similar, with excellent ventilation and plenty of floor space.
Temperature:
Daytime: 22–25°C
Night: 18–20°C
Humidity:
70–90%, maintained with regular misting and a moisture-retentive substrate. Consistent humidity is important for healthy moults.
Furnishings:
Deep substrate layer (at least 10–15cm) for burrowing and moulting
Leaf litter and decaying wood for nutrition and enrichment
Cork bark or hides to provide natural shelter
Good airflow to prevent stagnant moisture
Substrate:
A mix of coco fibre, rotting wood, leaf litter, and soil, kept moist but not waterlogged.
