These tiny Anthony’s dart frogs are such a cool little species, and a great example of just how much character dart frogs can have despite their size. They’re active, colourful and make a fantastic planted display, spending their time exploring the leaf litter, plants and lower areas of their enclosure.
These are captive-bred babies from May 2026, currently growing well and feeding consistently. As with all dart frogs, they’re a species you watch and enjoy rather than handle, and they do best when kept in a stable, well-established environment with plenty of cover and natural enrichment.

Current Care
Enclosure: Planted tropical vivarium with plenty of cover and floor space
Temperature: Around 20–24°C during the day, with a drop overnight
Humidity: High humidity with regular misting, while still allowing the enclosure to breathe and dry slightly between mistings
Décor: Live plants, leaf litter, cork bark, hides and natural climbing structures
Substrate: Moisture-retaining tropical substrate with a generous layer of leaf litter
Feeding: Small live prey such as fruit flies and appropriately sized micro feeders, supplemented regularly
Additional Notes
• Captive-bred and currently feeding well
• Fantastic little display frogs with loads of personality
• Best kept in a mature, planted setup with plenty of natural cover
• Handling should be avoided wherever possible
• Small size makes appropriately sized feeders essential
• They may be tiny, but they’re surprisingly active and entertaining to watch
