Meet Tash, a gorgeous female Arizona Mountain Kingsnake (Lampropeltis pyromelana) and one of those snakes that looks even better in person. She earned her name thanks to the rather brilliant little “moustache” marking across her face.
This CB26 female is healthy, alert and feeding consistently, with excellent colour, contrast and pattern already developing. As she grows, we expect her colours and markings to become even more defined, making her a really beautiful example of the species.
Tash is currently thriving in a well-established, cluttered enclosure with plenty of secure hides, enrichment and opportunities to explore. She is an inquisitive little snake and, like most young kingsnakes, can be quite active and curious when given the opportunity to explore.
